In 2004, the cry for help in the Western Province of Zambia was heard by a small group of women in Maine and the non-profit organization WISE was founded.  WISE – Women’s Initiatives that Strengthen and Empower – has since greatly increased the quality of life in Kaoma located in the Western Province of Zambia, Africa.
